eie.io is a free multiplayer game made by Ignis Studios. Playing it means agreeing to the following.

Be a decent farm animal

• Pick a nickname you would say out loud in front of other people. Nicknames that are abusive, hateful, sexual or that impersonate someone else may be reported and removed.
• Do not cheat. Modified clients, automation and exploits may get your player id blocked from the live farm.
• Other players are people. Report problems with the REPORT button on the death screen rather than retaliating.

Coins, hats and skins

Coins and cosmetics belong to your farm and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold, or transferred to another player. We may change, reset or remove them while balancing or maintaining the game, and will try not to.

Linking an email is what makes a farm recoverable. An unlinked farm lives in one browser's storage, and clearing that storage abandons it, coins and all. That is worth knowing before you spend money.

Buying things

Coin packs and remove ads are real purchases at the price shown, taken through Stripe. Coins are added as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, which is usually seconds and occasionally a minute.

Refunds. If a purchase does not arrive, or arrives twice, or you bought the wrong thing, write to farm@ignisstudios.com and it will be put right. Coins that have already been spent on cosmetics can be refunded at our discretion; we would rather sort it out than argue about it. Nothing here limits any refund right you have under the law where you live.

Adverts are not live yet, so "remove ads" currently removes the placeholder. It will keep applying when real adverts arrive.

Rentals

Watching an advert can rent a locked animal, hat, skin or effect for ten minutes. A rental is a rental: when it runs out, the item goes back to being locked, and the farm may undress an animal whose rental has expired.

Availability

The live farm runs when players are present and sleeps when they are not, so the first player of the day may wait a few seconds for it to wake. It may be down for maintenance. We make no promise about uptime or that any particular arena is available, and a farm going away mid-game does not entitle you to compensation.

Who can play

eie.io is made for everyone. It is a cartoon with no blood, no swearing and no gambling in it, and nothing in it is aimed at children in particular.

Playing takes nothing personal from you at all. Linking an email address to a farm and buying coins are for players aged 13 and over; the privacy page says what happens with either.

Content

The game, its code, its music and its sounds belong to Ignis Studios. Some of the art, models and code in it are licensed from third parties for use in it; see the credits page. You may stream, record and share your play, including commercially.

If we have to stop you playing

We may block a player id from the live farm for cheating or for abusive behaviour. Offline play against the bots is unaffected. Write to us if you think it was a mistake.

Changes

These terms change when the game does, and the date at the top is the version that applies.
